Mission
The Mission of Presbyterian Men is to lead men into a vital relationship with Christ and to assist them in their spiritual, personal and community development.
Goals
The goals of Presbyterian Men are:
- to develop their understanding of the Mission of the Church.
- to assist congregations in nurturing men of the church to mature discipleship.
- to encourage men in the church through their commitment to Christ.
- to fulfill the ministry to which men are called in their families, in their daily work, and in their ministry to other people in the community and the world.
- to involve men of various racial/ethnic backgrounds and men of different ages.
Objectives
The objectives of Presbyterian Men are:
- to enable men to understand their identity in Christ.
- to deepen the spiritual life of men through Christian fellowship which finds expression in mission.
- to cultivate participation in programs and projects enabling me to serve Christ in their congregations and communities.
- to develop effective leadership skills which men can use to fulfill their ministries where they are.
- to equip men to meet the mission needs and social challenges of a world in need of reconciliation.
